Guide to Candle Tunneling

Candle tunneling happens when a candle burns down the center, leaving a ring of unmelted wax. Here’s how to prevent and fix it:

How to Prevent Tunneling:

    1. First Burn Matters: Burn your candle long enough for the entire top layer to melt and reach the edges (1-3 hours).
    2. Burn for 2-4 Hours: Keep it burning long enough for even melting on each use.
    3. Trim the Wick: Keep your wick trimmed to ¼ inch to ensure an even burn.

How to Fix Tunneling:

Aluminum Foil Method: Wrap foil around the top, leaving an opening for the flame, and let it burn for a few hours to melt the edges.

Hair Dryer: Melt the uneven wax using a hair dryer until the surface is level.

By following these tips, you’ll get an even burn and longer-lasting candles!
